Hi, I’m Tiff! 

I’m a Sr. Staff Product Designer at CNN with extensive experience in building scalable, reusable design systems. I'm recognized for delivering impactful and innovative design solutions, driving new processes, enhancing creative thinking, and ensuring consistent, high-quality design across various platforms.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to projects that create lasting change. At Chase, I was one of the pioneering designers who created initial designs and documentation, laying the foundation for their first design system, driving its creation and setting the stage for its successful growth.

Most recently at CNN, I was brought on to architect design artifacts, lead intake and governance, and drive new processes while managing and growing the design system team. My responsibilities included enhancing CNN's designsystem by shaping intake and governance processes, contributing to strategic prioritization, and developing growth strategies. I spearheaded the Vossi Design System expansion, led initiatives for core desktop, mobile, and AV platforms, and played a key role in designing components, streamlining architecture, and unifying Figma design kits across product verticals. Additionally, I facilitated process flow, led office hours, and fostered relationships within CNN's design teams and cross-functional communities.

As a UX Principal at Wells Fargo, I spearheaded multiple initiatives to elevate the Pioneer Design System, directing the northstar vision for the brand and documentation site, and establishing a content hub that strengthened the product's identity. My role involved driving UX strategy, overseeing architecture, visual design, and content creation. I also managing design toolkits, mobile analysis, and the development of comprehensive specifications for components, patterns, and global elements.

I love collaborating and elevating design work through discovery, workshops, usability testing, or brainstorming. I strive to foster cross-functional connections with product managers, user researchers, engineers, and creative teams. By cultivating a supportive environment and bringing together diverse, well-rounded teams, I helped enhance the quality of the products we elevated.

Currently based in the Oakland, CA I’m originally from a small woodsy peninsula near Bath, Maine. I’m passionate about trail running, sustainability and the environment, literature, travel, playing the piano, volunteering, and seeing live music.
